Congratulations !

A WOW moment if ever I saw one. Congratulations.

Thanks Dan.

This is a beautiful illustration, Mark. My step father worked on the XB70 in the 1960s and couldn't say enought good things about it. Too bad they shelved the project.

I'm actually not completely satisfied with the print. There are 2 areas I don't like. I can't tell if that is Call's chaps on the right side as you look at the picture & also his hand on the reigns look really strange to me & others who have seen it. It doesn't really look like a hand to me or anyone else that has seen it. I've been satisfied with most of the others I've ordered to decorate my new home but not this one.

What a perfect gift for my daughter's graduation from Fordham University! It is a beautifully rendered image of one of the most gorgeous buildings on her campus - Keating Hall. She was so touched and hung it up immediately. I was so pleased with the quality of the drawing and the frame. Thank you!

This order has been pending for over two months and has not been delivered. Nor has a refund been sent to my credit card. This was a mail and frame order where I sent an item to FineArtAmerica to be framed. After FedEx acknowledged delivery of my item for framing to FineArtAmerica, FineArtAmerica sat on my order for nearly a month. My requests to give me an update on the status of my order were ignored. Eventually it was claimed that my poster had been damaged in transit to FineArtAmerica, but the photos of the alleged damage were weird and disturbing. No offer to refund the damage was immediately sent despite the fact that I shipped the poster under a FineArtAmerica account using packaging provided by FineArtAmerica. Eventually the item was listed as shipped but no tracking number was provided and I have still not received it. I have also not been made whole for the movie poster I sent FineArtAmerica which has not been returned to me in either good or damaged condition. Very very unprofessional service.

Artist's Description

Designed and constructed during the "Cold War", the Valkyrie first flew in 1964. The United States issued a requirement for a heavy bomber capable of cruising at Mach 3 with range enough to reach the USSR to deliver a nuclear weapon. Rapid progress of intercontinental ballistic missile programs soon negated the role for which the Valkyrie was intended and the program was cancelled. Two prototypes were constructed however, the number two ship was lost in a tragic accident in 1966 when a chase plane collided with it during a test flight. The first airplane continued to fly with NASA until her retirement in 1969 and is now on display at the National Museum of the US Air Force near Dayton, OH.

There is something about a purpose of design and the engineering solution to achieve that purpose that always created a spark in my mind. The forms those machines took were captivating to me - the pointed nose of a fighter jet; the exposed driving wheels of a mighty steam engine, the streamlined shape of a submarine. And the stories of the incredible experiences of the men who operated those machines are the stuff of legends and sometimes nightmares. From an early age I tried to express my fascination through drawing. I suppose my first...
