Art work on the hoodie turned out great. The down side is, the online example is nothing what we received in the mail. We were very excited to see the framed black background art stick out from the lighter flat black hoodie. Instead, all blends together. Looks as if should have gone with a gray hoodie

Thinkin may have to make some prints. Love responses I get.
Sometimes referred to as scraperboard (especially in Great Britain), but usually called scratchboard in North America and Australia, is a form of direct engraving where the artist scratches off dark ink to reveal a white or colored layer beneath. Scratchboard refers to both a fine-art medium, and an illustrative technique using sharp knives and tools for engraving into a thin layer of white China clay that is coated with dark, often black India ink. There is also foil paper covered with black ink that, when scratched, exposes the shiny surface beneath. Scratchboard can be used to yield highly detailed, precise and evenly textured artwork. Works can be left black and white, or colored (Wikipedia).
01-19-21: I had micro-surgery on my spine and was told to take it easy. Avoid leaving the house, lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds not a good idea, bending and twisting. Understand why I had this done: L4-L5 were not stable and were causing me constant pain. I'm still at the healing stage but do have an appointment on Feb. 2.. I'll have more info at that point... and thanks for your understanding. 09-24-19: Just to let you know.. I had surgery on my finger in January - the joint is now frozen, which is extremely helpful. Although I will probably never be able to work as long on individual pieces - at least I'm back at it. I take my time but still enjoy the creativity as much as always. Thanks for being interested. 05-19-17:...
