I don't know what it is called. Would Duane know? I do know that a couple of years ago a teenage boy was swimming buy it and was swept under after a boat went by and caused a bad current. When Ed and I were here, we took the canoe and as we left this spot, a boat came by and nearly capsized us. It pushed us ab out 75' off our course down river. It was really scary. So I am guessing it is some sort of warning sign.
