My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
Believe it or not, it wasn't too long ago that the entertainment people had was that radio on that table. There were no TV's, just a radio, where people would sing, and have shows. It was easier on the actors as well, because they could be really, really ugly and still be employed. Each night dad would sit down on his chair with is pipe, mom would knit, and we would just sit in front of that thing on the floor. Sometimes eating in front of it with a radio dinner.
