Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Artist's Description
This Mixed Media work of art is based on a photo of the new orb of lights in the John Hancock Center lobby in Chicago. It is called "Lucent," a three-dimensional sculpture by Wolfgang Buttress. The photo was post processed using a series of fractal layers and lighting effects.
The Lucent semi-sphere accurately maps the stars seen from the Northern Hemisphere, with the lights even twinkling throughout the day. The lights are cast between a mirrored ceiling and a black granite pool below, suggesting a sense of infinity.
This is the original Masterpiece Edition created by adding texture with many layers of acrylic paint and varnish. Thus, Masterpiece Editions, which are limited to a maximum of ten, become a one-of-kind works of art, by capturing the light and providing the depth of colors to create a three-dimensional effect. Masterpiece Editions come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are numbered and signed by the artist.

Michael, today I am so excited to Explore your FRACTAL COLLECTION wherein lies some of the thematic jewels which inspired your tribute contest ...Facets of EMERGENCE! This recalls early star studies at museums and planetariums, of privileged moments behind the lens in the observatory at nearby Mt. Holyoke College, MA, of Carl Sagan genius and (while other children were reading comic books) SCIENCE Magazine. After all, compositionally, we are ALL made of STARstuff, yes?...like I said, SOOooo excited to view your art!
