On the side of the hammer head it is stamped "Vulcan Bell Face", fascinating right? I don't really understand the design of this hammer head, the way the face of the hammer stands proud of the neck. This could become a very interesting discussion of the evolution of hammer head design don't you think? Who wouldn't want to prattle on and on about hammers and their place in society, not to mention the over looked considerations of cultural significance. It's a hammer. It's an old hammer.
