Original Title: Houses burned by Germans in WWI
Location: Choisy-au-Bac, France
Originally I was going for a hellscape dystopia, set in a fantasy world. Adding an airship to add to story context. But it seems that they did in fact destroy towns back in world war 1 this way, so I guess the joke is on me.
The original image was taken during the day, no fire, just a dog and a bike and a lot of destruction. I wanted the building on fire, since it was already pretty gutted looking to begin with. Also wanting to add bit more story to the scene, its more than a gawking scene, its telling history at the same time.
