When the east coast fishing nets are mended, dories secured, winter chores completed, a sea shanty like this is the perfect place to whittle away the time. This model schooner tall ship is sure to put a smile on the face of some young lad at Christmas time.
This masculine New England maritime still life painting for men by Hanne Lore Koehler features a cabin window scene with work bench, model ship, tools, boat wheel, fishing hut, shed and fishing equipment. Through a frosty window is a winter fishing village scene complete with fishing shanty and lobster traps.
