Using as a wallet
I always love to see street musicians, and Washboard Lissa is one of my favorites.
This is from a photo I took many years ago. Lissa plays guitar, washboard, and sings, and I caught her ( she once told me) on one of the few days she was trying to learn violin, performing with talented musicians on Jackson Square in New Orleans. Lissa Driscoll dresses exotically, and performs with many musicians, or alone on guitar and vocals.
Update.
Sadly, Lissa passed away of breast cancer. She is greatly missed, and fondly remembered.
Louisiana born artist Beverly Boulet began art studies at age four, and, luckily, had art classes all through elementary and high school, plus Summer art camps. She studied fashion design at West Virginia University, and continued her art education with workshops by noted portrait artists, including John Howard Sanden, Daniel Greene, and Foster Caddell. Ms. Boulet began painting murals and portraits in the early 1970�s at the Maryland and New Jersey beaches, and continued to do so upon returning to New Orleans in 1980. She has painted, literally, thousands of portraits in water media, pastel, and oils, which grace public and private collections internationally.
