I previously lived in Hood River and saw this exact view when I walked around my neighborhood. Now that I no longer live there, this ornament is a sweet reminder that I'll hang on my tree each year.
President Washington, First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen. What a stud! George Washington was the leader of the Continental Army against the evil British Empire and the first President of the United States. How can you not love this guy? Plus he did it all with wooden teeth, made out of a cherry tree, that he cut down as a child...? Did I get that last part correct?
