I was taking my dog, Charlie for a bike ride last week before I left for the beach. It was really early in the morning and as we're riding along, I caught a glimpse of pink and thought, that's really pretty. But, as I continue on my way, I start looking with new eyes at the flowers out blooming and the closer I look, the prettier they are. I see a beautiful blue flower and tiny yellow flowers, all with unique characteristics....Queen Anne's Lace and just clover. As soon as I got back with Charlie having to run along, I grabbed my phone and we went back out on our ride so I could take lots of pictures. That day, I started masking and, believe me, the masking for Queen Anne's Lace took forever!!! Even penciling everything in was painstaking. Finally, I did the background and then had to leave for the rest of the week. I started working on this again yesterday and finished it today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed finding all of the subjects!!
