I love looking out my window at the birch and aspen woods that surround my Alaskan property. The leaves positively twinkle as they vibrate with the the sun dancing and reflecting off of their flat surfaces. For this particular painting I focused on a particular white birch that looks as if its branches were long arms waiting to embrace me with the love and support of my friends, family, ancestors, and God.
