Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

The Draped Bust Dollar is a United States Dollar coin minted from 1795 to 1803, and again into the 1850s. The design succeeded the Flowing Hair dollar, which began mintage in 1794 and was the first silver dollar struck by the United States Mint. The designer is unknown, though the distinction is usually credited to artist Gilbert Stuart. The Model is also unknown, though Ann Willing Bingham has been suggested.

I appreciate your detailed description and you mentioned that the "Draped Bust Silver Dollar" (or Liberty) replaced the "Flowing Hair Silver Dollar." I didn't know about either of these coins until yesterday. I like all of the variations (colors). You mentioned the type of pencils used, the paper stock and that it took 46 hours to complete the drawing. I just read an essay by author/lecturer, Lewis Hyde, about the difference between work and labor. It's very nicely done. I was just reading about the different grades of coins. Your description noted that one of the "Draped Bust Liberty" dollars (Proof-68) was sold at auction for $4,140,000. Wow!!
