Description
One summer, many years ago I spent six weeks traveling across America, four weeks were spent on Greyhound. Any opportunity to get off the bus was welcome, and I tried to make creative use of the respite. This is one of the more curious moments captured in the middle of no where Arizona or New Mexico. This moment still resonates with me and is still relevant to the human condition.
As a genre, Street Photography features subjects in candid situations within public places. 'Street' simply implies a place where human activity can be witnessed, a place to observe and capture social interaction.
Timing and framing are key aspects of the craft, with the goal of creating images at a decisive or poignant moment. Alternatively, the photographer may seek a more prosaic depiction of the scene, as a form of social documentary.
