My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

Artist's Description

Strangely the fire department is for this area is only a few blocks away. Yet right in this location there are at least 4 burnt to the ground abandoned structures. I'm thinking that the properties were abandoned and bank owned or even state owned. I came across this one while shooting a few graffiti pieces. The couch was just sitting there, ripped up but not burnt up. Did someone put it there later, did someone try to save the couch from the burning house? I have no idea. The contrast was interesting to me.

About Scott Campbell

Scott Campbell

R. Scott Campbell - “I am a child of God with a camera.” My goal and passion is to capture and create imagery that shows a tiny fraction of the beauty of God’s Creation. When I remember that everything I see is part of God’s creation, I see beauty in everything and thus I am motivated and inspired. Fine art photography has been a passion since 1984. From 2003 – 2016 I was in business as a commercial photographer. Now I am a busy & successful fine artist. I have been blessed to be a galleried, juried,...
