The frame is extended so your eye doesn’t stop at the black shape but penetrates the picture’s world beyond. The frame’s made from large plastic, pastel colored, plates. Beads connect the four plates and loop in such a way as to pulling the eye to the left, preventing the pastel colors and blueness of the man from being cute. Cute is not good here.
