Where Is Bobby Fischer Beach Towel

Terrific composition, light....nostalgia. Love it!

Fantastic shot... great athmosphere... Thank you for your comment on my ''Sunflower detail'' .... Ana

Wonderful Capture !! You have captured a moment and a story !!

Madeline Ellis replied:

Ayan, I really appreciate your wonderful comment. Thanks.

This is such a wonderful candid shot, which I appreciate so much. (Staged photos can be so boring and without emotion or fake emotions.) This is just really nice work, showing the complete being in the mind and absolute focus. And the monochrome allows us to concentrate on the men, not the surroundings. Excellent!

Madeline Ellis replied:

Lenore, thanks for your wonderful and supportive comment.

Thanks for such nice comments on this photo. Madeline

awesome image!

Wonderful picture.

I agree with Ramel and the others who admire your work. Shine on. Also thanks for the endearing comment about my butterfly painting.

Thanks for the comment Madeline.... you take wonderful pictures. I love pictures that seem to tell a story.

One of those singular New York moments beautifully captured, Madeline.

This is a beautiful towel, nice and plush, and absorbent. The photo looks great; it's a magnificent picture. The package came to my home very speedily. I would recommend this artist, and the products.

The graphic is great quality and love this of sweet Chi Chi. Towel is huge and great quality!

Very pleased with the beach towel. Quality met expectations and is better than what I think some of the reviews suggest. Maybe a bad batch of towels at one point. It's a towel so the image is printed based on how the fibers are pressed flat in a single direction. Rubbing the fibers the opposite direction will expose the white side (non-printed side), but this is to be expected. 4-stars because nothing is perfect.

I am the current owner of the 1931 Nash that Dennis Hedberg took years back. I now have a blanket of that photo on the robe rail in the back seat to keep my passengers warm on cool night. Thanks

Artist's Description

Three men sit on a park bench playing chess. They are so deep in concentration that they don't notice that I am standing a couple of feet away. I know that I have to take the photo before one of them sees me.

About Madeline Ellis

At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
