Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Thank you for a truly wonderful pika blanket! My sister loves these animals and is going through chemo...so I sent her a soft, beautiful "fighting pika," which is doing its job!

Love this cute design on the blue background. Was impressed by how well it turned out on a fleece blanket...very comfortable and true to color.
An explosion of surf impersonates a geyser on the rocky outcropping at White Point. Located along the Southern California coastal area of San Pedro, the history of White Point sort of goes as follows:
There are three versions of how White Point got its name:
First, a sailor named White jumped ship and swam to shore here.
Second, the cliffs are pretty pale, and from the sea they looked white to sailors aboard ships.
Third, the name honors State Senator Stephen White, (1853-1901, who fought to get the deep water harbor in San Pedro.
Who knows the truth? Here's what we do know:
The entire area was once part of the Rancho Los Palos Verdes, owned by the Sepulvedas. Basically, it was a cattle ranch.
But everyone--the Native Americans, the Spanish, the Sepulvedas, and local farmers and fishermen, knew the entire coast, including White Point, as a great place to dive for abalone.
By 1895, a dozen Japanese fishermen had established a home bas...
As a kid I was fascinated with photographs. Look, Life magazine. National Geographic. That well-captured interplay of light and shadow...the notion of people, places and moments - all suspended in time. My first "real" camera was a Minolta Srt101. I was seduced. As a teenager, I learned how to develop film while working at Wyle Laboratories in El Segundo, and I still recall the smell of the developer...my eyes adjusting to the red filter light...and the sheer magic and delight of watching images begin to emerge. Life, family and a career as a teacher and psychologist intervened, not to mention a few more film cameras. Eventually, there was digital. Hah! Liberation! Photography is the creative medium that allows me to share...
