Grew up loving and playing the game, and those days of Mantle and Koufax and Gibson and Clemente and Mays and Aparicio, then along came free agency, and the designated hitter, and the mega park… worst of all, lights at Wrigley… so long, and thanks for the brat!

We are the same age...these were my heroes too, with Spahn and Burdette and Ernie...I am nostalgic for those days too...especially now that the games are played in empty stadia...
