Thank you Sandra, and thank you for the feature!!

Very fun fish photo Jon! So now I know that next time I better tell the fish to pose for me on a chair or something outside of the water.. lol.. I faced this problem at the Aquarium of Monterey Bay all day long and it is frustrating! Lovely work! v.

This was the perfect work of art for a tapestry. It looks like a genuine tapestry. The size and the price were unbelievable. It replaced a genuine tapestry I bought in Belgium for $400, which I ruined by trying to clean it. All the color bled out. This one is better!

I got this wall hanging for my son's dorm room wall. It turned out great. Very pleased.

June 14th, 2019

This turned out great. The pattern was simple and I minimized it enough to where it wouldn’t be blown out

Exactly what I expected! Fast shipping! All around perfect experience!

Artist's Description

Visibility under water depends on the amount of light reaching the particular depth. Illumination itself depends on the thickness of the water layer and on the reflection and scatter of light rays in the water medium. Part of the light coming from the sun is reflected by the surface of the water and the amount of reflected light depends on the angle between the rays and the surface of the water, also, on the quantity of air bubbles in the surface layer that have been formed by the motion of the water The most important reason for the low visibility under water is the weakening of the refraction capability of human eyes. In the open air, it is sufficient because the refraction quotient of light is 1 and that of the human optical system is 1.38. Water has a refraction quotient of 1.33, very close to that of the eyes Light is absorbed as it passes through the water, and much of it is lost in the process. In addition, the spectral components of light, the wavelengths that give rise...

For me, this adventure began with a single spring image using a small Kodak film camera of a freshly watered central Kansas ditch and has come full circle using modern digital techniques. My first camera was acquired by trading an ancient Royal typewriter to a fellow college student who was desperate to finish a term paper. It was a long time ago and that camera was my passport to an art that has fascinated me ever since. I owned and operated a professional studio in central Kansas for 20 years until moved to Colorado in 1993. Part of the studio's early success came from creating outdoor portraiture using controlled...
