Beautiful and painterly! David Leffels?

Jim Gola replied:

Kathleen... thanks for compliment. David is one of the best for still life work. His wife Sherry McGraw is on par with him. No wonder they got married as teacher to student. Jim Gola

Mike Lawrence is an incredible artist with a range of diverse styles. I'm a fan! This bag is exactly what I was hoping it would be: Well made, durable, and nice -n- big so I can carry LITERALLY everything I need in it! I can fit a laptop, chargers, wallet, phone, keys, and a sweatshirt, and any other small items I want. Great quality, beautiful art design! Highly recommend.

Surprisingly quick response and delivery time . The customizing process was easy to figure out , and the bag was exactly as i had ordered it . It's perfect to carry around my sketch pad and pencils or framed art work . The fabric is heavy weight , and the handle is sturdy and well attached . Good overall construction and the image quality is bright and clear .

Received this lovely tote. The image printed beautifully on the fabric. I ordered the small 13x13 size and find it attractive and handy for carrying odds and ends. I'm looking forward to showing it off.

Ordered this in the generous large size. It is beautiful, very dynamic. Am very happy with the quality of the image and the bag itself.

Artist's Description

"Wild Irish" was part of a series of paintings produced after a trip to Ireland to gather material for an "Irish Series". This was a quick "experiment" using some new medium I wanted to try out to see if I could get a more fluid look to a painting. The medium was Neo Megilp by Gamlin I liked the way the color was able to be pushed without diluting the consistency. I will use it again.

About Jim Gola

Born in Philadelphia in the late thirties, Jim Gola grew up heavily influenced by art and the cultural atmosphere contained in this bustling city. Admiring much of the work of Americas past masters such as Inness, Moran, Chase, Homer and Bierstadt, among others. He then started to generate his lifelong love of oil painting. Moving to Oregon in the early sixties, while free lancing in art, Jim was introduced to the field of architecture. Upon receiving commissions to...
