I collect travel stamps for a hobby, but when I visited the Noah Webster House in West Hartford Connecticut there was no travel stamp available for my collection booklet so I came across this sticker on your fine website and it is now in my travel stamp booklet under my Noah Webster House visit. Wild Rose and Salvaged Barn Wood is Curtis Neeley's image that is similar to the Ansel "Rose and Driftwood" but has a much more touching story. This was a “wild” rose on a piece of Lloyd Shanks barn. The barn can be seen in other images here but was torn down after a portion fell and trapped a cow. Curtis still has this one board thirty years after the barn was torn down.
