I love this print! It takes me back to my school years in northern Iowa and our favorite nuns. While they weren’t ice skaters, I remember them bundling up in freezing winter weather and scurrying to school. It’s just perfect!

I was commissioned to paint this tribute mural of rock music legend Tom Petty with Seck37 on the Sydney Lanier School in Gainesville Florida which is the site of Tom Petty’s school. I love this image of Petty playing his guitar while warm rays of sun light radiate from his head and a field of red wildflowers streams from his guitar...all indicative of the wonderful talent and inspiration of this hometown legend.
