Beautiful, in the right setting, but not exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it would cost almost as much to return (shipping) as I paid for it. I would have preferred more of a brushed finish (not an ordering option: it is way too reflective for any room with a lot of natural light), and the colors are a bit too intense to look natural.

Even better than I anticipated. For my daughter and son-in-law for a housewarming gift. It is perfect

About Lisa Konkol

There are so many beautiful scenes in life that I want to capture them in my paintings and enjoy them on a daily basis. My greatest joy in life is when I have a sable paint brush in my hand and brilliant colors on my palette. I love the feeling of mixing colors with my palette knives and applying them onto the canvas. Moving and carving the colors into recognizable shapes and values of light and dark, brings a painting to life. Working various colors into the painting, I use different brushes to create texture and depth. My final step is to use watercolor brushes to create the fine details. Just gorgeous. Monet scene but entirely your own interpretatio, which I think few can do. I love water and reflection. I used to do a lot when I started painting in the Netherlands with all their canals during a number of lucky years when I lived there. I gave away or sold all but 3 or 4 keep-sakes. Anyway, I came here to see what you were up to because of your sale. Lots of other lovely "realistic" paintings of nature, too. Thanks, and keep painting!
