Artist's Description
At my house the pantry door is always open because there is somebody in it. I create small paintings on a variety of subjects weekly. Sometimes a couple of times weekly. This was of a door that is about 100 years old. It was done in oils. In the style of alla prima. This means all in one sitting , or wet on wet.
About Diane Fiore
Diane Fiore was born in Long Branch NJ. Within walking distance of the boardwalks and beaches. This was where the inspiration for many of her paintings and photography originally came from. Her parents were working artists and they have given Diane the opportunities to be creative since childhood. Diane is an oil painter and a photographer, her paintings are in the alla prima style. She is an award winning artist and has had her art on exposition at The Mayo Hospital in Waycross, Ga and a variety of venues and galleries in South Georgia. Diane also has her paintings and photography in collections through out the United States.
