I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

I have been making art since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I always knew that art would play a major role in my life- it even pervades my dreams. When I was 14 we lived in Hawaii for a year and I attended 8th grade there. My art teacher told me that when it came time for college I should apply to attend The Cooper Union in New York City. I never forgot that advice and when the time came I did indeed apply and was accepted there. I graduated from Cooper and also attended California Institute of the Arts for a semester in an exchange program. I became interested in folk art while spending time in Vermont.
