Some years ago I bought the throw blanket with The Polleras. I like it, it's a good quality. I still have it and looking great. This time well...not a good experience. I overpaid for the items I bought and not a good quality. I basically paid for his art, but the print on the bags are a little fussy. I bought extra material to add a linings inside the tote. I won't give it for a present the way it was made.

I ordered some Christmas gift items for my family using my photo art. I received my orders today and am very pleased with the quality. The fabric is a very sturdy, dense polyester that is sewn together perfectly. I was afraid that the photos printed on fabric might appear washed out, but these have deep, rich colors. I will definitely be proud to give these as gifts this year. This item is my Silk Tree carry-all pouch.

I LOVE all of the wings by Michelle Lake...they are amazing. I have them hanging in my house and now happy to be able to buy the art, on pouches, and cards, and phone cases etc. she is an amazing talented artist...I love being able to get her art on other things besides canvas, which I also love, I have to say though on this particular pouch, the words and feathers were blurry. I gave it as a gift and she loved it anyway, but it was definitely blurry...that was a little disappointing....
A small forest snail on the stem of a plant. Part of the 'Woodland' series: ..... https://davebowmanphotography.com/portfolio-item/woodland/ ..... Walking along, a community together slowing our steps, the forest before us spending time, lingering there Open to what the creator will show us gifts of this moment to share Entering in, deeper and deeper the pond and its treasure made known An expanse of water, the reeds and the rushes the artistry of our makers brush Trees and moss, the ferns and the oak leaves the crunch of the branches, the rocks underfoot Sharing the day, the time and the fellowship slowing our walk, in union with you ..... Slowing our steps in the forest by Raymond A. Foss ..... If you like my work please consider voting for it. It only takes a second. ..... As a photographer I like to be on the move, physically and technically, trying out new approaches and discovering new paths. I believe artists should continually challenge themselves and experiment in order to progress creatively and to keep ideas fresh and vital. My primary aim is to capture the essential quality of the experience before me at the very moment the shutter closes. I then allow the subject to dictate the precise levels of tone or colour required for the final image. These decisions are key to my creative process and something I find continually challenging and inspiring. Dave Bowman Photography | Facebook | Twitter | LinkedIn | Pinterest

David, I really like this woodland series. Nice that you utilized a monochrome color palette for something that is often depicted as lush and green. It allows the viewer to focus on form and pattern. Beautiful with the prose you selected. voted
Dave Bowman replied:
Thank you so much for your very kind comment Cheri! Glad you like the series.
