Born in Philadelphia in the late thirties, Jim Gola grew up heavily influenced by art and the cultural atmosphere contained in this bustling city. The city of brotherly love is still a thriving east coast art market that comprises some of the oldest art schools and galleries in America. Steven.. Tks for comments on my work which for some reason do not also show up on my dashboard. Your comment came thru my email, otherwise I would not have seen it. I guess this proves that my dashboard is "dead" and has been for several years. Your email notice gave me the proof that my comments are not being captured. The last time my painting "Central Oregon" was commented on was on JUly 15, 2015. Time is flying by as I am! Jim
