Average Rating (4.68 Stars):

Bought medium size and given to my nephew who adored it as pencils’ holders to bring to school. This particular image is so nice that I decided I will buy a duvet cover for me with this print.

I took the smallest misure because it is a perfect coins’ holder. I really enjoyed the beauty of this image. Very nice and charme. I already bought from this artist and I will go ahead to, of course.

I absolutely love my zippered purse! It holds so much and helps to organize so well. I'll be buying another set for myself soon. Excellent quality and price! Thank you very much.

Just love my portable artwork from this brilliant artist!

The zipper doesn’t work too well because there is too much material and it keeps getting caught. Very disappointed.

Artist's Description

A shaggy beast emerges from the mists of time. This is the Woolly Rhino, Coelodonta Antiquitatis, a species of rhinoceros that existed during the last Ice age. He stands in a grassy clearing with hints of snow tracing the ground. A dense fog, or perhaps smoke from a nearby grass fire, almost completely envelopes him. I havent done much paleoart lately, but I'd been getting the itch to create a prehistoric animal artwork lately, so here is the latest in my extinct creature series. I've made art before depicting the wooly rhino. It's one of my favorite of the Pleistocene megafauna, but I was trying a new fur technique with this one, and I think it turned out rather well. I went for less scenery in this one and went with a more textbook illustration feel. Hence, I have the creature in profile and eliminated any details in the background. A disclaimer about my paleoart: When it comes to paleoart, the images I create favor 'art' more than 'paleo'. While I try my best to depict ani...

About Daniel Eskridge

I am a forty-something living in the Metro-Atlanta area -- one of the few people who was actually born and raised here. I'm married and have two sons and a daughter. By day, I am a senior software engineer. But, by night I am a 3D render artist. I have dual degrees from the University of Georgia, one in Computer Science, the other in Fine Art. So, it seems only natural that I attempt to combine the two by producing art using a computer. Plus, I find that it's a bit more practical than painting as it doesn't require all of the clean up, harsh chemicals, or expensive supplies. In fact, I have been a render artist since some of the first ray-tracing programs were made publicly available in the mid 80's. To follow me on facebook CLICK...
