We made this duvet for my niece who had low res. pictures and 3 cats. It came out fantastic. This is my second duvet and they both amazingly soft and perfect. Can't wait to do another project.

Our granddaughter is enchanted with dragons and cats -- this was the perfect choice for a duvet cover! I was especially impressed with the fact that I got to customize the border color of the duvet cover. The art work is beautiful and expressive. I was very happy to find FineArtAmerica. We looked for suitable dragon duvet covers for a long time before landing on this site. So many outstanding artists! Thank you.

Artist's Description

The ornate and grand entrance to the historic landmark Woolworth Building in Lower Manhattan of New York City. Rendered in historic black and white. The Woolworth Building was designed in the neo-Gothic style by the architect Cass Gilbert, whom Frank Woolworth commissioned in 1910 to design a 20-story office building as the F. W. Woolworth Company's new corporate headquarters on Broadway, between Park Place and Barclay Street in Lower Manhattan, opposite City Hall. Originally designed to be 420 feet (130 m) high, the building was eventually elevated to 792 feet (241 m). At its opening, the Woolworth Building was 60 stories tall and had over 5,000 windows with a construction cost of US$13.5 million. On completion, the Woolworth building topped the record set by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower as the world's tallest building. The building opened on April 24, 1913 and President Woodrow Wilson turned the lights on by way of a button in Washington, D.C. that evening. Given it...

About James Aiken

James currently lives and works in the New York City area, a far cry from a childhood in the splendors of rural Vermont. An unabashed introvert, James enjoys observing all that surrounds him without feeling the need to be an integral part of the proceedings. His goal as an artist is to express the remarkable within the familiar and ordinary, through critical examination and contemplation of the subject, without alteration of the scene... ...And sometimes he just gets lucky by being in the right place at the right time. PLEASE NOTE: - The 'Fine Art America' watermark that is present on each image will NOT appear on the finished print. %
