Granddaughter (who is a hula dancer) commented the girl didn't have a top on. Felt the artist needed to add a Pa'u top.
Artist's Description
This is a door knocker that our neighbor made and is on his shop door. We had to have him do some work and as we approached his shop that morning this caught my attention, with the texture of the rusty iron and its color, the dark shadow, and the knots and nail head in the wood.
About Keith Gantos
He has produced hundreds of pieces of art. Painting in oils over 40 years, completing his first oil painting at 10 years of age.
