Antonia - many more thanks. :D This was one of my first native American paintings and a a dear friend owns it. :D

Alanna, I think oldies are fun to show. This is exceptional, very nice feel to it. v/f

Jane - thank you so very much. You always say the most lovely things. :D Makes my day. Oh - and I've been painting lately, so hopefully will have some new ones in. lol Jane - I always feel so priviledged to see your comments as you are such a great artist and have such a tremendous following. This painting is 26 years old - it should have a job by now! ;) Thank you again for taking the time to comment so beautifully. :D

Alanna,I should have noticed this one before! So often people love "early works" that we don't rate so high! This has an uncluttered quiet feeling which is enhanced by the soaring birds. The beautifully decorated pots add a tantalizing glimpse of who may be around. And the whole scene seems to be bathed in a bright but soft light. A lovely discovery in your gallery today! L/F

Rosemary, thank you so very much for your lovely comments. This was from an old B&W photo of a friend and she now hangs it in her living room. It's an antique - done when I first started painting. Looked at your site again - wonderful portrait of your father. Again, thank you for your lovely comments. :D

I absolutely love this piece, Alanna! Wonderful composition and colours! L/F

Lenore - coming from you, your comments are especially heartwarming. I know your work! Lenore - thank you for taking the time to comment on this "antique" I found in our garage. IT now hangs in our home along with all the other Native American paintings. You are always so uplifting. Thank you again. :D

Sophie - mea culpa for being so late. I sent you a private message. Yes, it does look somewhat like MOrocco and Saudi homes also when one isn't rich. Your site is gorgeous filled with rich photos of so many places we have visited. We're both very lucky to have travelled a lot. Aain, thank you for your love comment on my Native American paintng. I do truly appreciate it. :D

This is beautiful and appealing! Love it. v/f

Reminds me of my trips to Morocco! Lovely. voted.

Patricia - thank you so much. I just came back from your site and must say I truly enjoy your style of paintings and the colors you choose. :D Thank you again.

This is very lovely, peaceful and beautiful

Jack - thank you so very much. It's an "antique" from my first year of painting, and a lot of fun. I very much appreciate you taking the time to v/f and comment. :D Went to your site - wonderful work! Especially enjoy your Sunset and the Girraffe.:D

I enjoy this work, very well done;) v/f

Judy, thank you again for commenting on this painting. It's from an old b & w photo a friend of mine had. Just painted it in color! :D I truly appreciate your comments. Your gallery is gorgeous!

Wonderful image, full of stories...beautiful, fv vt

Sure, now BOTH are up. lol

Paula, Just got back from looking at your site. Is there nothing you can't do? So many styles. Have to admit the Iris is my favorite. Thank you so much for enjoying my "oldies." I very much appreciate that, and the vote too! :D

Paula, thank you so much. I just looked at your site. Am especially fond of your Iris. You have so many different styles! As for starting art late in life, I was 39 or 40 when I started. As you said, better late than never! Again, thank you for taking the time to look and comment on my painting. :D

I agree with everyone, you should share your "oldies". I really like the subject and your style on them. V

Anne-Elizabeth - I just spent some time at your site. I see your understanding and joy for Native American Art. You use gorgeous colors. And your site has so many different styles. Am very impressed. Thank you very much for your lovey comments on my "antique" painting. It's very much appreciated.

I like this. It has a friendly feeling. I love Native American images and anything Native American in the world of art.

Xueling, thank you so very much for looking at my "antique" painting. The grandmother of a friend of mine was full-blooded Cherokee, and that's what got me into native American art. I just looked at your site again, and it's fabulous! So many various subjects. I saw a few pics of Beijeng which I would love to paint in the future, but ONLY with your permission. They are in black and white, and I'd love to do an oil painting of one. Again, thank you so much for your lovely comments. I do take them to heart. Alanna

Really beautifully created, Alanna! I love the Native American art, which you put them in front of the painting, very unique and wonderfully designed! Love it! Thank you:-)!

Thank you so much for the invitation to share on your group Poems-Paintings. I would be very happy to do so. Thank you!
