love this greeting card
Shot on Fujichrome 35mm transparency film later converted to digital, this is Wrigley Field before a game, before the crowd enters, while players are engaged in batting and fielding practice. The near uniformity of the rows and seats seemed to tell a story. The few seats slightly ajar added to the suspense. I'll let you tell the story.
Forty-eight of my most popular images (based on views and sales) are found on the front page of my images gallery. Others love them, perhaps you will too! The second page of my images gallery displays my most recent images (unless one or more made the front page and was replaced by a more popular image.) Don't forget to look there and beyond too. _____________________________ I divide my time between Chicago in the summer and Phoenix in the winter. The first hint of cold, generally sometime in late October I flee the dreadful weather and head to Arizona. i'm sure what grabs my eye about this image but something does. I work there sometimes, so it;s very familiar to me. Peace, Sven
Roger Passman replied:
Thanks Sven, I know that I am a huge fan of symmetry but yet this one breaks the symmetry in so many ways. It was shot on an off day as I was assigned Wrigley Field for a contribution to a silent auction to benefit Cubs Wives. This one didn't make it as the final contribution, that was an image of the scoreboard and bleachers, this one, however has stuck with me for a long time. Like you I'm not sure why! But there it is.
