Calvary Presbyterian Church was dedicated on November 17th 1918. Construction cost $70,000.00. By the 1980￿s the congregation had dwindled to a point where it was becoming difficult to manage the upkeep and expenses of a large building. Calvary moved to a smaller building away from the area. The building change hands several times and then a fire started on the roof and while the owners waited for insurance claim to be paid, scrappers stole a lot of heating pipes even the stain glass windows.

Photography has been a lifelong interest of mine and now that I am retired, the free time has allowed me to devote more time and energy to viewing the world through my lens. Challenging myself to capture the beauty and contrast of nature through changing light, creating powerful images, is my passion.
