The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Calvary Presbyterian Church was dedicated on November 17th 1918. Construction cost $70,000.00. By the 1980s the congregation had dwindled to a point where it was becoming difficult to manage the upkeep and expenses of a large building. Calvary moved to a smaller building away from the area. The building change hands several times and then a fire started on the roof and while the owners waited for insurance claim to be paid, scrappers stole a lot of heating pipes even the stain glass windows.
Photography has been a lifelong interest of mine and now that I am retired, the free time has allowed me to devote more time and energy to viewing the world through my lens. Challenging myself to capture the beauty and contrast of nature through changing light, creating powerful images, is my passion.
