Item was lost in transit. Tough figuring out how to contact Fine Art. Finally received 6 weeks after placing order. Then received the original shipment.
The weather is taking it's toll on this old farm hay barn that is surrounded by shrubs and trees located in western Washington. The photograph is finished with brown and yellow toning, a painterly style and texture to emphasis it's state of being, mostly old and forgotten. Thin dark edging corners the image topped with old fashioned script. What a great job you've done here Jean. It's heartbreaking to see these beautiful old barns and homes just being totally forgotten about, and left to rot. If nothing else, there is usually a lot of really nice wood to be salvaged. It makes you wonder about folks sometimes. But, thanks to you, and the rest of us on this group and others like it, these places are getting at least a little recognition before they're gone forever. f/v
