'But for everyone, believers or not, the works of art inspired by Scripture remain a reflection of the unfathomable mystery which engulfs and inhabits the world.'

VISITORS - Welcome to Catholic Art Gallery group on Pixels.com and Fine Art America.
This group is here specifically to share Catholic and religious artwork with lovers of Sacred Art. To make the stories of the bible, the saints, and other Christian Artwork, that does not portray anything against the teachings of The Catholic Church, approachable and accessible to both practicing Catholics and people who struggle with what’s stopping them from becoming a Catholic.
You are invited to scroll down and view the latest featured artwork, then click the Images tab for the most recent additions. Also, click the Contest tab to view the winners.
Come back often to see the weekly features exhibited. All Catholic Artwork is available for sale. Click on the image of your choice for more details.
TO PURCHASE CHRISTMAS OR GREETING CARDS, click the artwork of your choice, then the Greeting Cards option. You can then view the discounts available when you purchase single cards, or a box set of 10 or 25 religious Christmas cards to fit any style.
Also, click the Contest tab above and look for the link to the Holy Christmas Greeting Cards Contest and find your way to the winners at the Leader board.

Please only exhibit your very best!! The more distinctive and unique, with strong composition, the better chance of being a Feature.
The purpose of groups is to exhibit a sample of your works and lead a collector back to your profile page. This group will feature artwork from group members around the Wednesday of each week, and it is suggested it uses the = Catholic = keyword, however I will only feature your new works from the previous 7 days.
Again, please only exhibit your very best!! The more distinctive and unique, with strong composition, the better chance of being a Feature.
Catholic Art can be that thing that bridges the gap between understanding and not. We seek artwork that deepen ones understanding of the great mysteries of God and to provide images that will bring the viewers mind back to God. Whether it is a statue, stained glass window, painting or humanities; Catholic art conveys a dimension of Christianity that words strain to impart. However, anything that goes against the Catholic church's teachings/doctrine/dogma, or is clearly anti-Catholic, will not be allowed.
Photographs and Artwork of all mediums accepted, but the image must speak of the theme consisting of the subject of the group.
==== artists who repeatedly ignore the rules will sadly have to be removed from this group ====
Here is a tip: If you want to control what images of yours I consider to be featured, then only submit one image per week. If you want me to curate your images to be featured, then submit more than one per week, but only one image submission per day. To do this, you can add and remove images as much as you like. The key is to follow the group guidelines to have your submission accepted into this group.
Thank you so much for sharing your artistic vision and the beauty of our Lord's Church with the world!
