Artist Jackie Bodnar added a new piece of art to her gallery today. This piece is different in style than her other work. The colors are vibrant and the symbolization speaks for everyone. This mixed media piece includes a white mask that covers many other layers of many different colors representing the many different roles we take on in life. Roles such as sisters, brothers, parents, friends, employee, employer, spouse, son or daughter, member and so many more. An interest in art developed within Jackie while she was growing up in a small town in North Central Ohio. Jackie moved on after high school to first complete a four year degree in Labor Relations from Youngstown State University and then continued on completing a degree in Spanish Translation from Kent State University.
Jackie spends her time creating art and writing inspired by day to day life experiences including life struggles and life accomplishments.
She plans on continuing her education in Spanish Translation and creative writing while growing in her faith and pursuing her interest in art. Jackie currently resides in the small town in which she grew up in Central Northeast Ohio. She can be contacted via email bodnar.link@gmail.com.
