Artichoke by Maggie Terlecki. I really enjoy sxploring different ways of showing ordinary objects around us in different ways. The simple artichoke. It does look a bit like a tree but it also has this very architectural feel about it and when made monochrome, it gives the impression of being a small tree made out of wood or concrete.

I'm a photographer from a small town in Quebec, Canada and I do mostly Still Life compositions and Urban Vignettes. I take pictures of things I feel a connection to, a way of sharing my feelings, my world, and my place in it. I also do digital painting - mostly fantastical creatures like fairies.
