This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
Coming from the drought state of Texas, I rarely get to see such lush blue and green! It was intoxicating! Around every bend it was more beautiful than before. I never did see a sign but based on my map I'm pretty sure this is Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park in Washington state. According to Wikipedia, Lake Crescent is known for its brilliant blue waters and exceptional clarity, caused by a lack of nitrogen in the water which inhibits the growth of algae. The road past the lake hugged the shoreline, only one lane in each direction, no shoulder to speak of. Every once in awhile there was a turnout where you could stop for a picture but it would come on you a bit suddenly as you came around a bend so you had to decide quickly to turn off the road or not. I was actually driving on the 'wrong' side of the road because the lake was on the other side of the road so I really had to make a quick decision as to whether it was safe to dart over to the turnout on the other side! Lake Cres...
About Joan Carroll
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
