Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. About Lynda Lang
Almost every watercolor was completed in my studio in Carpinteria, California. Due to some physical limitations I most often work from photographs I have taken, and some that are brought to me by others. I just don’t do very well painting on location. Almost all the work represented here was completed in the last eighteen years. My serious study of watercolor only began when I retired from Sunkist Growers in 1995. Happily most items were well received, and so only a few original paintings remain available. All together I have selected some 120 items from my most recent work to offer here for your pleasure. Recently we published a coffee table book titles "The Delights of Carpinteria" featuring my works that depict scenes...
