This was a plein-air piece that was done at an old farmhouse just south of Idaho Falls, Idaho. A new residential development will soon be put up with these stacks once stood.

I was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1962 and moved to Idaho in 1973 and I have been an artist as long as I can remember! There were times as a toddler I would "gesture-draw" on my bed-room wall with any writing untensil I could get my hands on (much to the dislike of my mother), and throughout my days in school I would do the same type of art-work in my text-books (much to the dislike of several teachers). There was a time in the 80's when I didn't do much art on paper/canvas but in the back of my mind my interest in the craft never left me.
