The Huguenot Christian Cross is one of the most beautiful symbols of Christianity. The butterfly has also been used to symbolize Christ as have roses. This work incorporates the Huguenot Cross, a golden butterfly and golden roses on a field of fire put together as a heraldry shield. This work has my butterfly logo serving as its signature.

Every piece of art in my gallery is original; not scanned; not a photograph. Using only the computer mouse, I draw every line, add every bit of shading, highlights, blending, and refining to finish a piece. All of the art is started on a blank white page in Microsoft Paintbrush. The finishing process is done using Adobe Photoshop Elements. The viewer is respectfully reminded all of my works are copyright protected. Every piece is printed using only the finest of professional materials available, by a professional printing house. Art is in the eye of the beholder. I will not write in the third person here. That sounds pretentious and, most of the time, inaccurate. Being in the last third of my life, it becomes clear good health is the finest gift possible. Again, nature provides the most beautiful inspirations. Walk into your own garden. Stroll a beach or a path in the woods. Watch the sun and clouds or a kitten playing with a piece of string. Pay attention to the faces you see...they each tell their own story. Create something wonderful that has a piece of your own heart on it. The emotions that drive us human beings also drive our art. The viewer is respectfully reminded my works are copyright protected. Please visit me often. Kindest...

Thank you Nina! Also, thanks for the information concerning the Huguenots in Africa.

Thank you Roger! Thank you Glenn! I wanted this piece to look regal. The Huguenot Christian Cross was designed hundreds of years ago in France. Apparently, some of my distant family members were Huguenot and had to escape France--they fled to Ireland to keep from getting beheaded because of their religious choices. Happy New Year gentlemen!
