This artwork was created from an original photograph of mine taken of a sulphur crested cockatoo that was literally pulling weeds in the park opposite from where I live. There are a lot of these birds living in this park in among the large trees and each evening they come out onto the grassy area and feed off the weed and seem to particularly like the roots, which is why they dig in amongst the grassy areas as they do. I adore these birds even though they are so loud at certain times of the day, but they are a wonderful reminder of the wildness and freedoms of mother nature and her creatures.

I've used digital effects to create a different perspective of this creature with space effects and coloring that add some fun and drama to this image. I've also created a specific kind of bordering around this image that means it can be used for apparel and other Fine Art America and Pixel items.
