This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
"River of Gold" shows the various moods of a river filled with gold. The top of the river is in cheerful colors - the part of the river keeping it's gold. The bottom 1/4 of this painting is in more "angry" colors as man is taking it's beloved gold. There is a great range of bright colors with a great deal of blending. Over these colors gold leaf paint has been added. This is one of my favorite paintings. I hope you enjoy it. I would entertain commissions using the colors you prefer or copy this original.

Thank you so much for visiting my site. It's been an unusual journey on my way to painting. Due to an illness when I was 40 - over 2 decades ago - I had to quit working. One day I went to a large mall and was happily surprised by an art show/competition. While looking at all the paintings (about 1,000 in all), I was drawn to one particular artist. It turned out she was the teacher to 1/2 of the artists there. Having told her I was degreed in opera and concert, she immediately told me: "If you are in one of the arts, you are in all of them." That turned out to be true, and it turned out I could paint. Since then, I have been in jurried competitions, came in second in my first and first in my second. One is now in a museum, a gift...
