This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

About Richard Mitchell
I'm a self - taught photographer who has been into the photography scene since childhood. I started off shooting scenery with a little 110 camera, then graduated to a more "advanced" 35mm point and shoot camera, then finally to the 35mm slr camera. It was at that point that I received an inspiration from a friend to really get into the photography thing, stock photography to be specific. After that I purchased a fairly high end point and shoot digital camera with many features that an SLR has, but it didn't stop there, I eventually went to the digital SLR cameras, and now own a Canon Digital SLR with quit high end lenses. I've photographed events such as weddings, anniversaries, and Christmas, but am more into the scenery side of the...
