Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

For me there is no better day than that spent with a camera outdoors doing my best to capture God's beauty that surrounds us. I have a particular affinity for the smaller things in nature, the bugs & the insects that so often get passed by unnoticed - to me they are strange, curious & beautifully wonderful works of art. I have had 12 of my photos published in "In the Field" magazine over the last 5 years. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more. ~George Gordon, Lord Byron This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
