The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Accompanied only by a background of dark clouds, a solitary black crow calls out into the storm filled skies, while perched high atop tall swaying pines. Pen and ink pointillism, or stippling.

My first pointillism was during high school, and although many years have passed I continue to enjoy creating each piece of work, experimenting with new techniques along the way. Pointillism, or stippling, is an extremely time consuming yet rewarding process involving the application of thousands of dots in a single drawing. Each dot is hand placed with ink, or acrylic when painting.
