The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,
Remembering that john james audubon shot his specimens and strung them into positions as lifelike as he could manage, i decided to mimic that odd and quaint look-- although i didn't have to shoot my specimen-- he was found dead. woodcocks have an amazing nuptial flight that involves launching skyward at sunset and then diving back to earth emitting his beautiful call: a wonderful song of spring.
i have a long history of taking pretty mediocre bird photos. with crummy lens and lack of patience, i've put together bird images from israel to alaska that are breathtakingly dull and out-of-focus. but i do have photoshop skills, so my choice was either to cut my throat in photo envy and self-loathing, or breath new life into the bad photos with considerable "painting", merging and touch-up. and so voila: part painting, part photography... all profits go to maintaining my own animal rescue facility called "the running dog ranch" in SW colorado.
