The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

The Wacissa River in North Florida is in fact a spring-fed stream with its headwaters located about a mile south of the town of Wacissa. It is popular for canoeing and kayaking and is one of the Natural beauties of this part of Florida. I have painted this in transparent watercolor and wanted to accentuate the light reflecting off the surface waters and the warmer lights from the sun shining through the tree foliage and Spanish Moss. Hopefully the principal vanishing point leads the viewers eye to the canoeists as they make their way into the middle distance. An osprey nest can be seen at the top of the middle distance tree with two ospreys approaching. Bill has been painting and selling his artworks and prints for over 30 years and they are collected worldwide.
